Simplifying Complex Terrain

That's what happens when you stumble around the Internet looking at blogs. There are moments when contemporary analysts will use a religious relic as prop to make some sort of salient point and this fellow does it swimmingly. For all the kudos in the world this is proof positive that I recycle since my response was to post this great contribution to advancing knowledge about Islam.
